Sydney’s iconic Gay Nightclub is facing a fresh threat after a young man was reportedly beaten and robbed at gunpoint.

Police said a 21-month-old boy, who had been staying with a friend in the same room as the victim, was assaulted while in the lounge area.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for serious injuries, including a broken cheekbone.
“He is in a stable condition, but it is unclear how the assault occurred,” the spokesman said.
Police have not named the man.
“Police are working with a number of agencies to investigate this incident,” he said.
“We are assisting the relevant authorities with inquiries.”
