Fox Sports has reported the NFL has already replayed the first MNF game for the 2016 season, which was played at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.
Fox Sports said the game, which drew 3,831 fans, is scheduled to be shown again on Fox Sunday afternoon.
“As a result, the NFL will re-play the first Sunday Night Football game on Fox on Sunday, September 27, 2016,” the network said in a statement.
“The league will not be replaying the 2016 game.”
Fox’s Sunday show on the Fox Network will also include interviews with players and coaches, as well as live sports scores.
The game featured the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets in the AFC Championship Game, which Baltimore won 30-24.
In 2016, the league had replayed five games, including a rematch of the 2014 Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and the Atlanta Falcons.
While the NFL does not normally re-air its games, it does sometimes air replays.
After the New Orleans Saints beat the Denver Broncos 30-23, the broadcast showed the game as being played on Sunday morning.
According to Fox Sports, the replayed game was also played for the first time last week.
But that game, as part of the NFL’s re-election year campaign, also had the Patriots win over the Houston Texans.
MNF will also be replayed for the upcoming NFL draft on Tuesday.
