They had a chance to tie the game at 93-93 on a 3-pointer by Josh Childress, but the Clippers made a 3 in the lane, putting Los Angeles up 99-91.
The Clippers went on a 17-3 run that tied the game on a jumper by Jason Kidd.
Detroit led by as much as 15 in the second quarter, but Los Angeles scored seven straight points and tied the score at 99 on a layup by Marcus Morris.
The Blazers went on to win 107-94.
The Warriors lead the series 2-1.
The Detroit Pistons lead the Pacific Division.
