An interview with RTE News editor and showrunner Alan Kearns has revealed that the Irish broadcaster will not be carrying the RTE flagship drama The Fall of the House of House of Cards.
Instead, it will be carried on RTE3 from next week.
It will be the first RTE drama to be picked up by the channel after it launched its own standalone channel, RTÉ One, in 2015.
Speaking to The Irish Times, Kearns revealed that he was asked to reconsider the decision, but was not given any reason.
“We’re not doing it for money, it’s not about ratings, it is not about profitability,” he said.
“We felt that the RTS genre is very well-represented by RTE and the language of RTE. “
“RTE 3 will be about the story of House, and that’s why I feel we have to pick it up.”‘”
We felt it would be important to pick up the RTV genre’ Kearns, who has written the show’s script, said he did not want to make the show too commercial, and he also said that the format would allow for a wider audience to see the show. “

The Fall of House Of Cards was broadcast on RTV from 2010 to 2015, and was the most-watched RTE series ever.
It was also the first Irish series to be shown on RTÉ, with RTV3 being launched in the US on October 13, 2015.
The Fall Of House Of Card was picked up for broadcast in Ireland in April 2017, but has been in the works for years.
Kearns said that he had been in talks with RTH, which he described as a very different company to RTE, for a while.
“The whole story of the show was in my head and it’s always in my mind.
It’s been in my thoughts all my life,” he told the Irish Times.
“But it was really difficult to get the right deal.”
We had discussions with RRT, they agreed to pick us up for RTV.
It would be an interesting, different, exciting story.
It has the feel of RTV, but it would also have RTV’s DNA.
“I don’t know that there was a perfect deal, but we felt the right way to go about it.”
